FAQ

Let's keep this website simple! The answer to most of your questions are on our customer service page.

Can I put my prescription lenses in your frames?

Yes. All of our frames are Optical quality. They are handmade and can be adjusted by an optician. When you look at the cost of frames in optical shops, you can see the value in our collection!

Why are your lenses better than the competition?

Our lenses are the highest quality, providing better clarity and a lightweight design that is comfortable to wear. They are hand coated for scratch resistance.

What shape looks good on my face?

Corinne McCormack has a great section on her website called Face Framers. You will find descriptions on the different face shapes and what shapes will look good for you. In our product descriptions, we mention what shapes look good on different face shapes. Then there are styles like Sherrie or Hollywood that look great on everyone! Trust us, we have been trying on glasses on people for several years and accumulating this information to share with you!

How do I decide what color to buy?

We think it is hard to decide, so we suggest you have an eyewear wardrobe of multiple shapes and colors. But to get started, look at your hair color. Blondes and brown hair people look great in tortoise, purple and red tones (also check out Hollywood or Rose Leopard). Black hair, red headed and dark brown people look best in the darker tortoise, brown, and jet colors (Check out Hollywood chocolate mint). We also suggest brights to give your color some brightness, like a bright red or purple.

Do the colors of my eyes matter?

If you have Blue eyes, we definitely suggest you get a blue pair of glasses (see Sherry Navy). That will bring out the color in your eyes. Green or hazel eyes, try to get greenish tints (see Hollywood Chocolate Brown). Brown eyes, you can wear any color.

What about my Ready to Wear?

Do the colors of my clothes matter? Absolutely! Think of these glasses like an accessory. You change your lipstick color, your handbag and your jewelry. You should also change the color of your readers. When you wear black (it always makes us look slimmer!) so wear black glasses or try to pop the outfit with a bright color (red, purple, yellow). Try to coordinate your frame colors to your outfit. Our service consultants can suggest colors to you, just email them at fgxics@fgxi.com.

Do your frames come with a case?

Yes! We want to be sure you have a proper case for your purchase. The readers come with a micro fiber black case with a facile closure. The sunglasses come with a black hard case. These cases are free with your purchase. You can also select a great case from our case assortment to add that extra fashion touch. Imagine pulling Leopard readers from a great leopard case! Cases make a great gift too! See our selection of cases.

How do the Eyerings work?

Corinne designed and patented the Eyering for women who wanted to wear necklaces instead of eyeglass chains. The special double ring mechanism actually locks the glasses in place. The instructions are listed on the packaging but simply put, place your finger between the rings and push the small ring back. Slip the frames between the rings and the glasses will stay in place. If you like the Eyering, buy several colors so you have all your wardrobe options covered. This makes another great gift! See our selection of eyerings.

Will wearing Eyeglass Chains make me look old?

We think saying, "Where are my glasses?" make you look old! When you wear our chains you absolutely won't look old! We see the most fashionable women wearing amazing eyeglass chains and they look great! Of course, you need to coordinate your chains to your clothes and your glasses to look perfectly wonderful! Our chains are designed using the hottest colors in ready to wear and look like expensive designer jewelry. See our selection of chains.
